Originally from East Boston, Gonzo has been drawing since he was a small child. He became fascinated with tattoos when all of his friends started getting them, and eventually got one himself. His natural fascination combined with this experience inevitably led Gonzo to start tattooing at age 21, and he’s never stopped since.
Gonzo Chavez is a well rounded tattoo artist, but specializes in realism and realistic renderings in skin art. One look at his work and you will see Gonzo’s natural talent and discipline embodied in ink with style and originality.
Gonzo has many friends and mentors that have guided, and continue to guide him on his journey of learning to perfect his tattooing abilities, as well as his many artistic endeavors.
